Drive for approximately 8 km from the city center to enter
Nairobi National Park to view a
variety of game including Lions, Cheetah, Buffaloes, Impala, Giraffes
and Ostriches, roaming
in untouched Savannah and Indigenous forest.
(4) Karen Blixen Giraffe Centre
Visit the home of former coffee farmer Karen Blixen now preserved as a Museum.
Proceed to the Giraffe Centre where you feed rare Rothschild Giraffe.
(5) Bomas of Kenya
A 'boma' is a homestead and just a few kilometers from the city centre are numerous
homesteads reflecting Kenya's diverse peoples. Enjoy a cross-section of folk dances from
various tribes in the country. Experience the culture as depicted by the recreated African villages
with the chance to buy local handicrafts.
(6) Carnivore Experience
Guaranteed daily at 12.30 pm and 7pm. Nairobi has many restaurants offering a variety of
cuisine. Recommend a dinner or lunch at the carnivore, which is famous for its succulent steaks
and barbecue dishes as an excellent complement to a holiday in Kenya, especially as a welcome,
or farewell dinner.
(7) Rift Valley / Lake Nakuru
Enjoy the view of the Great Rift Valley from the escarpment and then descend to Lake Nakuru
National Park. A game drive to view thousands of flamingo and other bird species in addition to
viewing the white and black rhino, leopard, buffalo and waterbuck among others. Lunch is served
at either Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge.
